Lookloom legal
Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of Lookloom to upload images, make AI edits and virtual try-ons, download results, and share images for others to remix.
Effective date: July 27, 2026
Important licensing rule. Unless Lookloom and any relevant rights holder give you separate permission, images and AI-generated content obtained from or shared by others through the Service are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Downloading an image does not grant commercial rights.
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Ruhuy, Inc., a Delaware corporation and the operator of Lookloom ("Lookloom," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use Lookloom on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms where you live. If applicable law requires consent from a parent or legal guardian, that person must review and agree to these Terms and remains responsible for your use. Lookloom does not represent that it independently verifies every user's age.
Lookloom is not currently offered in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom. You may not access or use the Service while located in one of those regions. Availability may change after we update the Service and these Terms.
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
3. The Service and non-commercial use
Lookloom lets users upload images, provide prompts and references, create AI edits and virtual try-ons, download results, and share uploaded or generated images so other users can create from them.
Subject to these Terms, Lookloom grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Commercial use requires Lookloom's prior written approval and may also require permission from an uploader, photographer, model, brand, or other rights holder. Commercial use includes advertising, paid promotions, resale, merchandising, client work, commercial publications, product listings, monetized media, training or evaluating commercial AI systems, and use principally intended to obtain a business advantage.
Nothing in these Terms limits your lawful use of your own unchanged original image outside Lookloom. The Service license, the license for content shared by others, and the rules for Outputs created through the Service remain subject to these Terms.
4. User content and ownership
"User Content" means images, reference images, prompts, instructions, titles, and other material that you upload or submit. "Outputs" means images created or modified through Lookloom's AI features, including virtual try-ons and further edits.
You retain any rights you hold in your User Content. You grant Lookloom a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, transmit, process, modify, and create Outputs from User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the functionality of the Service, subject to our Privacy Policy. This operational license ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except for lawful retention, security records, backups, shared content, and licenses that survive under these Terms.
You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to upload, edit, and share your User Content, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, property, and model permissions and any additional consent required for minors. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, exploitative, invasive of privacy, or submitted without necessary authorization.
5. Sharing and remixing
You choose whether to keep an uploaded image or Output private or to share it. Sharing options may let you share an uploaded image or image pack, an Output alone, an Output together with its original image, or an Output through Discover after review and approval.
When you share User Content or an Output, you grant Lookloom a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, format, distribute, and make that shared material available as needed to operate the selected sharing feature. You also grant each person who lawfully receives the shared material a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to view, download, reproduce, display, share, modify, and create and share derivative works from it for personal, non-commercial purposes.
An active Lookloom sharing link may be forwarded without separate attribution because the sharing page carries the available source information. If someone publicly reposts an original uploaded image outside its Lookloom sharing page—for example, by posting the image file, a screenshot of it, or an embed detached from the sharing page—they must identify the original uploader. Attribution is not required for an AI-derived Output, although Lookloom may continue to display source or creation information.
Sharing never transfers ownership or grants commercial rights. Lookloom will seek separate permission before using a user's shared material in paid advertising or unrelated external marketing.
6. Sharing controls, revocation, and Discover
An Output-only link lets recipients view and remix that Output without access to its underlying original. An original-image link or an Output + Original link lets recipients view and create from the original, forward the authorized link, and include the original in links for their derivative Outputs. These links do not disclose prompts, reference images, intermediate generations, branches, or the editing session.
If you submit an Output to Discover, you ask Lookloom to review it and, if approved, display it publicly with its title, creator information, available source attribution, and related engagement data. Submission does not guarantee publication, and Lookloom may reject, remove, or limit any shared material for legal, rights, safety, moderation, or product reasons.
You may revoke access to an original image or another sharing link. Revocation stops future access through the affected link and stops new copying or creation from the original. It cannot recall copies already downloaded, but those recipients may not make or publicly distribute new copies of the original after revocation. Revocation does not invalidate Outputs or other derivative works lawfully created before revocation; those works may continue to be used and shared for personal, non-commercial purposes. An Output-only link remains independent of original-image access unless it is separately revoked.
Deleting an editing session removes access to that session and may revoke links associated with it, as indicated by the Service. It does not necessarily delete Outputs, approved Discover posts, moderation records, favorites, or other generated-media records.
7. AI-generated Outputs
AI systems are probabilistic. Outputs may be inaccurate, unexpected, similar to another user's result, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Lookloom does not promise that an Output is unique or free of third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing an Output before relying on, downloading, or sharing it.
As between you and Lookloom, you retain any rights you already hold in your User Content. To the extent permitted by law and subject to underlying rights, Lookloom does not claim ownership of the new elements of an Output generated solely for you. This does not remove the personal, non-commercial restriction or give you ownership of content or rights belonging to another person.
8. Lookloom materials and prohibited conduct
The Service's Quick Edits, interfaces, branding, software, and related technology are owned by Lookloom or licensed to us. Except for the limited Service license in Section 3, no rights are granted in those materials.
You may not:
- use shared material or an Output commercially without all required prior written approvals;
- violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or contractual rights;
- create deceptive impersonations, non-consensual intimate imagery, exploitation, harassment, sexual content involving minors, sexually explicit or pornographic content, or content that offers, solicits, or facilitates sexual services or sexual exploitation;
- circumvent access controls, rate limits, moderation, credit systems, or security measures;
- scrape or bulk-extract content, reverse engineer protected components, build a competing content library, or use content to train or benchmark an AI system without permission;
- introduce malware, disrupt the Service, or use it in violation of law.
Sexually explicit or pornographic content includes sexual acts, masturbation, exposed genitals or anus, sexualized exposure of breasts or intimate areas, sexual fluids, or content primarily intended to arouse or solicit sexual activity.
9. Credits, enforcement, and service providers
Credits are limited, revocable rights to request eligible Service operations. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not a bank balance or property right. Promotional credits may be subject to disclosed limits. Paid purchases are subject to our Refund Policy. Unless mandatory consumer law provides greater rights, a paid charge is eligible for a standard refund only when we receive the request within seven calendar days of the charge and every credit provided by that charge remains unused.
You may stop using Lookloom at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or restrict features when reasonably necessary to address a breach, security risk, legal request, rights complaint, non-payment, or harm to users or the Service. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal or export eligible content.
Lookloom relies on service providers for infrastructure, storage, identity, communications, security, and AI processing. Their services may be governed by additional terms and may occasionally be unavailable. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lookloom and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Lookloom during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Changes, governing law, and contact
We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will post the revised version and update its effective date; material changes will receive reasonable additional notice. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
